We Are Family!

Welcome to 2024
Hello, we are a group of lesbians in central Minnesota. The group was established in the fall of 2007 by Julie Redpath, Rebecca H, and Rebecca G. That is when they decided to have our first meeting (get together) at Rebecca and Julie's place in Rock Creek.
We get together for social activities and friendship. Some of us are partnered, some of us are single and looking and some of us are happy single and definitely not looking.
We currently have an email list of about 50 women, our private Facebook page we have 98 members. and we average about 20 women at a more or less monthly gathering hosted by a member.
What is a typical gathering like? We meet at someone's home, cabin, farm or at a park, and we eat, play games or cards , make things, kayak, canoe, talk a lot, laugh and enjoy each other's company. The person who hosts the activity sets the date, the time, the place, the activity, and usually provides something to nosh on - and it is usually also potluck. If there is no one who signs up for a month I try to coordinate a get together at the Pine City Pizza Pub.

In June, we will also be at the East Central Pride celebration held in Pine City - it is a great time to come check us out.

We seek to share stories with each other and build community with one another - in our own towns, where we strive to be safe, productive, welcoming and welcomed!
